Bobby Beals Presents… Reclamation: The Power of She featuring mixed media artist, Esuwae

An art show featuring the mixed media works of Esuwae with mediums including acrylic on canvas, and found assemblage along with innovative installation. Santa Fe based artist, Esuwae explores themes around healing and empowerment through color in paintings and narratives through assemblage.

Esuwae finds this body of work as a channel to ask the feminine to look into their life and begin to reclaim for themselves the parts that have been denied, buried or overlooked due to limitations or suppression. She elaborates, “As women, we hold so much that most of us just don’t see.” Viewing the painting, The Sovereign Queen… She Who Embodies; the hope for Esuwae is that women see their authentic authority and spiritual birthright that each woman possesses and begin the journey to uncover what that means for them.

Esuwawe further expresses, “Each body of work asks that I dive deep into what each reclamation means to myself. My prayer becomes that every beautiful goddess that devours this body of work finds a deeper understanding of Herself and walks that discovery with every fiber of her being.”

This show is free and open to the public. The show will be installed in The Horseshoe Gallery on Thursday July 23, 2026 and de-installed by Monday July 27, 2026 with hours of operation to be 12pm - 5pm Thursday, July 23, 2026 through Sunday, June 26, 2026 with an opening reception Friday, July 24, 2026.
